Who publishes it
Madison WI Junk Removal is published by N5 Studio, a web studio run by Ryan Nesheim in Rockford, Illinois. N5 Studio built the site, wrote the pages and checked the sources. It is not a junk removal company and does not own trucks.
How quote requests are handled
When you send the quote form, the request goes to a partnered local junk removal company that serves Madison and Dane County. That company prices the job, does the work and bills you directly. Nothing is hauled until you have agreed to a price with them.
Where the numbers come from
Every figure on the site has a source, linked where it appears:
- Prices: national cost guides from Angi, HomeAdvisor, HomeGuide and LawnStarter, each updated in 2026. Older guides are left out on purpose.
- Local fees and rules: the City of Madison Streets Division, the Dane County Department of Waste & Renewables (landfill, Clean Sweep and C&D recycling), every Dane County city, village and town that publishes solid waste information, and the haulers' own municipal pages and price sheets: Pellitteri Waste Systems, GFL, Johns Disposal and Republic Services.
- State law: Wis. Stat. s. 287.07, NR 488, E-Cycle Wisconsin and s. 704.05(5).
- Town numbers: the U.S. Census Bureau's ACS 2024 5-year estimates (2020-2024) via Census Reporter, and the Census 2020 ZIP code relationship file.
- Madison history: the City of Madison's historic preservation pages and Wikipedia's National Register articles; census tracts from the Census Geocoder and ZIP areas from Census TIGERweb.
- Place facts: Wikipedia, linked on each town page.
- Photos: illustrative images generated for this site, not photos of specific jobs or addresses.
Where a town publishes nothing, its page says so rather than guessing. If something here is out of date, the source link on that page is the place to check, and the quote form reaches us.
What this site will not do
It does not show reviews, ratings, staff names or years in business, because it has none of its own to show. Prices are ranges from published guides, not promises; the price that counts is the one the crew quotes you.
